Who We Are

We make quality gear for mountain biking enthusiasts. Flow is a nascent design company and apparel shop founded by designer and amateur MTBer, Chuck Mallott, and his best friend, Cori. It is our hope that the apparel we design inspires everyone to go outside, have fun, and find your flow.

Having joined the world of mountain biking later in life, Chuck realized how easy it was to feel on the outside looking in. So many of the great riders and the popular MTB YouTubers are much younger or have been in the sport forever. As it turns out, the majority of people in this industry are refreshingly open, approachable, and collaborative once you get past the social media veneer of likes, subscribes, and comments. We see Flow as an opportunity to welcome the newbies still learning on greens, celebrate with the experts crushing black diamonds, and everyone in between — with style.

Flow is a confluence of dual passions — design and mountain biking. We’re people of simple, but refined tastes. We love quality, but dislike high prices and pretentiousness. One of the philosophies we ascribe to is simple and deliberate: make things better by making better things (hat tip: Seth Godin for coining that phrase). We live out this mindset in everything we do here.

Our brand is more of a way of life, not just a catchy mountain biking term. For us, Flow is all about living unencumbered, being present in each moment, adjusting to what life throws at us, and always enjoying the ride.

We’re for the enthusiasts who want to exemplify their love of mountain biking with a certain sense of style. We represent all riders regardless of skill level or experience. Our hope is that wearing Flow gear helps you look good, feel good, and ride good — and most importantly makes you proud to say I’m a mountain biker.
